I was tasked to create a logo design for a hypothetical product of my own imagining. The concept is a food product that is intended to be played with before eating and can be molded into fun shapes. In order to match the typeface to the personality and roundness of the enclosure shape, I used Helvetica round as a base and customized it wherever necessary.
For the coloration of this design, I opted for warm colors in the primary logo, with variations that will change on the packaging for other available product colors. Additionally, I created a version that utilizes a gradient for more depth and visual interest.
The final stage of this product was to create mockups to showcase the final product. I chose two possibilities, the first being a pouch, which is common in food packaging, and the other being reminiscent of the PlayDough cans that inspired my concept.
